Partners Research Computing has developed a tool to allow users who have access to RPDR (Research Patient Data Registry) to more easily import that data into REDCap. This session will review the RPDR Data Import Assistant tool, access to REDCap and RPDR.

In this first release, the following RPDR domains and associated fields are supported:

  • Medical Record Numbers (EMPI & MRNs)
  • Contact
  • Demographics
  • Providers

Use cases include: medical chart reviews and using RPDR to identify patients for study recruitment purposes, to track recruitment activities and potential study enrollment status, and study data.

  •     Want to know Provider information to send study recruitment materials
  •     Want to know RODY status to send study materials directly

In collaboration with the Harvard Catalyst | The Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center, REDCap and REDCap Survey are free, secure, web-based applications hosted by the ERIS Team and designed to support data capture for research studies. To learn more about REDCap visit: http://rc.partners.org/edcredcap.

Target audience: Researchers that have access to request identifiable RPDR data and want to use REDCap to store and manage that data.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Access REDCap, RPDR and the Data Import Assistant.
  2. Create REDCap projects from templates.
  3. List the RPDR domains included and what data can be imported.
