These instructions are written for individuals sending an email from the Lyris List Manager web interface.
Requirements
- A List Manager account.
- Complete the Mailing List System Request Form if you are creating a new list
- Depending on how your list permissions are configured, the person composing the message from their email client needs to have permission to send to this list. If you need to grant someone access, see How to add Administrators to your List Manager (Lyris) Mailing List.
Instructions
- Open your Email Client
- Compose a New Message
- Copy our list email address into the 'To:' line,
- Your list email address is the 'name of the list'@ researchlist.partners.org
- For example, listname@researchlist.partners.org
- Your list email address is the 'name of the list'@ researchlist.partners.org
Notes
When you send to your list from your email client,
- your email address is the from address and replies to this mailing will go to you.
- Tracking metrics will not be gathered.
If you would like to utilize the tracking features or designate a specific from address, please send mail through the web interface. Please see KB0027933 for instructions.
