MGB Digital has updated its approved and secure methods of remote access. This Service Desk knowledge base article details those methods.
In addition:
- Many applications are available via workspace.partners.org which does not require you to install VPN. This guide provides helpful information for accessing MGB network resources when not connected to the MGB network.
- For remote collaboration, Web, Audio & Video Conferencing are available.
- Using SSH to connect outbound to resources external to the MGB network is no longer allowed.
NOTE: MGB Digital will be removing and blocking access to numerous remote management tools currently installed across the environment on June 4, 2024. Below are the tools scheduled to be disabled; additional unapproved tools will be disabled in future waves as we continue to triage the business use cases:
- RealVNC
- Zoho Assist
- Remote PC
- Pulseway
- Jump Desktop
- Parsec
- Rustdesk
- ToDesk
- Supremo
- CBDesktopControls
- Anyviewer
- Remote Ripple
- Getscreen.me
- Helpwire
- Atera
- RemoteDesktop Viewer
- AeroAdmin
- Iperius Remote
If you are not actively using any of the software listed above, no action is required on your part. MGB Digital will work with impacted teams to minimize business disruption as they address these risks in the MGB environment. If you require support while migrating to an approved remote access solution, please submit a ticket to DIS Vulnerability Management - MGB.
