Research IS Risk Assessment and Network Access Control (NAC) from Fabio Martins, PHS Research Information Security Officer:

  • The Research IS Risk Assessment initiative has started. All labs will be assessed (both MGH and BWH). All information will be provided through this central website: https://rc.partners.org/risk
  • Network Access Control (NAC) implementation is nearly complete. Phase 1 is Assembly Row and all devices connected to the network in Assembly Row will be subject to NAC. 

Trend Micro Deep Security for XP from Neil Coplan, ERIS Manager of User Services:

  • All Windows XP computers on the Partners network need to have Trend Micro Deep Security for XP installed to provide virtual patching. Users can download and install the software themselves at the URL.  More detailed info is located on the Kbase article at: https://rc.partners.org/kb/article/1994
