Install CrowdStrike on Your Apple Macintosh Computer

Mass General Brigham is committed to providing a consistent computing experience across all devices used at work to assure productive, stable, and secure computers. Vulnerabilities are discovered frequently in software and they put your computer, data, and the enterprise at risk.

Beginning March 8, 2022, CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor AntiMalware will be pushed to your Mac. CrowdStrike AntiMalware is an additional endpoint security tool application. Both CrowdStrike AntiMalware and supported AntiVirus are required to keep your systems safe and secure. Macs without AntiVirus will receive CrowdStrike Antivirus as well as CrowdStrike AntiMalware.

CrowdStrike is available for download from the PEAS Self Service Application and can be self-installed prior to the automatic push using the directions below.

To download CrowdStrike via Self Service:

  • Launch “Self Service”
  • In “Applications”, search for “CrowdStrike”
  • Select Install
