"The MySQL Database Cluster that a number of applications hosted by ERIS rely on experienced a series of unexpected downtimes this past week. We have narrowed the root cause of the incidents and we are working with Oracle MySQL to firm up the root cause. According to Oracle, it may be caused by a previously unknown bug within the MySQL server application itself. What we do know is that a process related to a single application caused the database system to go offline.
We do not believe that the integrity and completeness of the data within the database system were affected by these outages."
