BWH: Shapiro Breakout Room
Data are the most important product of clinical/scientific research. In this lecture of the "Topics in Biostatistics" series, Rie Maurer will share great tips to create databases (excel or access) for statistical analysis. In the second half, Lynn Simpson will talk about REDCap and data management.
REDCap, Research Electronic Data Capture, provides a user friendly interface to design databases for your research projects. Learn how to practically implement statisticians' recommendations and best practices. REDCap exports raw data and syntax files to SAS, Stata, R, and SPSS to streamline data collection and statistical analysis.
This introductory talk is for anyone who is in charge of creating databases.
