Course Objectives:
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
• Identify common data management needs, pain points and opportunities to improve the process
• Appraise the value of a dissemination focused electronic data capture (EDC) system
• Articulate the advantages of engaging subjects within a dynamic, interactive Portal

Summary:
Publishing faster and increasing subject retention are central goals of all clinical investigators, yet traditional electronic data capture (EDC) systems provide nothing beyond raw data dumps and forms for subject data entry.  As a result, there is a protracted, painful process going from "raw data" to the end-result manuscript and there are no incentives for subjects to participate.

This presentation is intended for investigators looking to overcome these common challenges in clinical research (e.g., clinical trials, patient registries, surveys). Attendees will learn about StudyTRAX, an innovative, EDC system that directly connects raw data with the manuscript generation process, as well as a portal that delivers tailored multi-media information to subjects, providing a powerful, retention-building, “me-first” reason to participate.
