Rich Bertone, Account Technology Strategist and Srini Armbati, Cloud Solution Architect from Microsoft will join Allan Harris, ERIS Cloud Architect to discuss how MS Azure can be used in research, focusing on analytics, Linux VMs, and big data. Allan will demonstrate real-time deployment of Linux services connected to and from the Partners network using AD authentication. There will be time for questions.
The Research Technical Lunches are held monthly throughout the academic year with a summer break in July and Aug. The target audience is research IT administrators and managers who support institutional research departments and labs.
