Researchers from the entire BWH community are invited to participate in the 2018 Research Roundtables. The goal of these discussions will be to promote available resources, identify needs and learn more about priorities from the research community across all thematic areas. The BRI Centers & Programs will then be able to use this feedback to set goals and priorities for their future activities and resource allocation. As a grassroots organization, the BRI strives to be nimble, responsive and inclusive of the broadest swath of the research community.
We encourage all members of the BWH community with an interest in patient-centered, comparative effectiveness or outcomes research to attend. Your input will be highly valuable in shaping PCERC's overarching mission going forward, especially considering upcoming Congressional budget deliberations which will determine the availability of continued funding from the national Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institutes (PCORI). Additionally, there will be a discussion to determine the feasibility of creating a universal large dataset (CMS, HCUP, etc.) sharing mechanism through PCERC that will ensure compliance with the regulatory aspects of individual Data Usage Agreements.
