The Institute for Applied Computational Science (IACS) at SEAS offers an annual winter event of knowledge and skill-building activities in computational science, engineering and data science. The workshop content compliments the curriculum taught in DataFest.
SKILL BUILDING WORKSHOPS
Dates: January 23 - 25, 2019
Learn computational skills in a hands-on format with IACS student-led workshops and industry presenters. Topics will include: Computer Vision with NVIDIA, Using Google's What-If Tool, AI Fairness 360 with IBM Research AI, and NLP with Microsoft Azure.
REGISTRATION
Workshops are open to the public and free for Harvard affiliates. Affiliates include Harvard staff, postdocs, researchers, faculty, and students. Registration for non-Harvard affiliates is $100/day or $250/three-day workshop pass. All proceeds will support the IACS Education Fund, a scholarship fund for emerging leaders in the fields of data science and computational science.
Workshops will not be video taped or livestreamed.
