This lecture will outline our current integrative team-based approach and present results thus far, and our hopes for the near future.
MRI is known to play an important role in PCA assessment, both qualitatively and quantitatively. However, it is not without limitations, as demonstrated by precise radiology-pathology correlation. Fully understanding and optimizing MRI for prostate cancer assessment requires a ”multidisciplinary” research approach for assessment of tissue microstructure, through teamwork with mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists, pathologists and radiologists. This lecture will outline our current integrative team-based approach and present results thus far, and our hopes for the near future.
