Update for our Apple Community regarding the "FREAK" exploit

Apple has released important software updates that address the security vulnerability known as “FREAK”. This exploit impacts encryption of all Apple products. Members of our Apple community are strongly encouraged to update all your devices to the latest operating system.

Prior to updating, ensure you backup your device and connect to wired power and internet if available.

For iOS products like iPhones & iPads, please download and install iOS 8.2
On your iPhone or iPad, launch Settings > General > Software Update
Touch enabled iPhones will require your alpha numeric passcode after the update

For Mac OS X desktops and laptops, please download and install all available updates
On your Mac, go to the Apple menu > Software Updates or App Store

Apple supports three versions of Mac OS X (10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, and 10.10 Yosemite). If you are running an older OS, please please contact your IS Service Desk for assistance upgrading your Mac.

Thank you for keeping our community safe & secure.
