Serving and surveying your software & application needs

ERIS strives to find solutions that fit the business, scientific and budgetary needs for research and innovation communities and those who support them. ERIS experts offer trainings and foster forums to help the community get the most out of the services. Current initiatives are highlighted below:

  • Do you use R for statistical computing or data analysis? A Partners R User Group is meeting for the first time on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6-8:30p.m. at Assembly Row. R is a free and open programming language for statistical computing, data analysis, and graphical visualization. The Partners R User Group seeks to bring this community together to share ideas, discuss R related topics, and provide direction for new and experienced users.

  • Do you need software for publishing and managing bibliographies and citations? Would you be interested in purchasing EndNote Software if offered at a discounted rate? Please take a brief EndNote survey to help us understand the volume of licenses needed in hopes to better secure a discounted rate for researchers across Partners HealthCare affiliates.

  • Do you need software to analyze, graph and present scientific data? GraphPad Prism software is offered at considerable savings for researchers through the  ERIS Research Computing Core

  • Do you use the ERISOne Linux Cluster? Scientific Computing wants to know which applications you view are the most important in use on the Cluster today. The team is exploring ways to modernize the way scientific software is managed on the platform. We are also looking to hear which applications you think should be added in the future.

Do you have feedback regarding software or applications not covered here? We welcome feedback through our General Inquiry form or email, rcc@partners.org, at any time.
