ERIS Scientific Computing

  • ERISXdl is up and running again.
     
  • Rstudio and JupyterHub have redundant servers available (Rstudio2.partners.org and Jupyterhub2.partners.org) we are finishing up with the load balancer. An official announcement will be going out soon

Core Software

  • All SAS licenses expire in April. We've reduced the cost for Server/Citrix licenses to $240 per person, per platform.  If you have a Server or Citrix license and want to maintain access, you do not need to do anything, and we will debit the fund on record.  
    • SAS Desktop licenses will remain at $300 per license and require a technician to install the license.  Please note, you must log into rcservices.partners.org to order a new license. Your license will not auto-renew.
  • NVivo portal licenses are now available at a discounted rate through the Research Computing CoreNVivo is software that can be used for qualitative analysis of textual and audiovisual data sources
    • NVivo requires no installation, and you may log into your account on any computer, to access the NVivo portal. For more information on NVivo go to the Research Computing Core's software page or order now at rcservices.partners.org (MGB login required).  All questions may be directed to rcc@partners.org

April Research Tech Talk

  • April 28th, 2022 presenters:
    • Dr. Paolo Bonato, Director of the Motion Analysis Lab at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospita will discuss the lab, its technology and current projects.
    • Dr. Lynn Bry, Director, Massachusetts Host-Microbiome Center and Crimson Core will discuss Crimson and use cases for the MHMC and support of the clinical pathogen genomic surveillance program.
