The Biobank Portal is a web-based tool that researchers can use to query data about consented Partners Biobank subjects and to make sample requests for plasma, serum and DNA. To date there are 32,000 consented subject in the Partners Biobank whose data is available in the Biobank Portal. Data in the Biobank Portal includes electronic medical record data, patient health surveys, statistically-validated disease definitions and a utility for selecting healthy controls. To use the Biobank Portal, you must already be a registered RPDR user.
As of November 2, 2015, the Biobank Portal is pleased to announce several new features:
- Enhanced graphing and reporting of query results
- The ability to create and download date-shifted sets of patient data for analysis and sample requests.
- The ability to request de-identified and identified samples.
- The ability to request genomic data on 5000 subjects who have been genotyped by the Partners Biobank.
