Microsoft Products

1. Microsoft Windows:
   To request Microsoft Windows for an unmanaged PC (meaning not issued by MGB and tagged with a control number), open a ticket with the Service Desk: https://partnershealthcare.service-now.com/phsess/open_ticket.do
   
   
2. Microsoft Office 365 for PC and Mac:

Please Note:  The agreement allows each user to install Microsoft Office 365 on up to 5 computers used for business-related purposes. 

Academic software through Research Computing

• MGB Research Computing provides a growing list of desktop and server software from vendors that is tailored to a researcher’s unique computing needs.
• BioRender, ChemDraw, Endnote, FlowJo, Grammarly,GraphPad Prism, JMP, MATLAB, NVivo, SAS, Stata and SPSS are the current licenses available.  
• As a service to the community, software requests are gathered from researchers and processed in bulk orders at academic pricing. The "group buy" affords a lower price per license. Researchers reimburse the Core for the cost of the software.

Adobe Software

• Despite our best efforts, Mass General Brigham no longer qualifies for Adobe educational pricing. The Adobe products will still be purchasable through our vendor Insight but without the educational discount. If you need to continue with Acrobat, you can email @email for approvals and a quote.

  To help offset this change, Mass General Brigham is providing a centrally-funded alternative: Power PDF. 

  This robust tool offers PDF creation, editing, conversion, annotation, redaction, access restriction, and fill/sign functionality at no cost to you.

  IMPORTANT NOTE: 

  · Your device must be a MGB managed device (computer, phone, or tablet enrolled in the Intune system which allows MGB to remotely control and manage its settings, security, and applications) to install via the instructions above.

1. You can also request software title quotes from Mass General Brigham's software vendor, Insight: MGB@insight.com.
2. Once you get the quote .pdf, place the order in eBuy and attach the quote .pdf.
