Corporate Phones: All corporate phones must be enrolled in Ivanti Go by policy. Users with corporate phones requesting un-enrollment should have a ticket escalated to the appropriate Site Security officer team for approval.
Resolution
To un-enroll your Android device from Ivanti Go:
Method 1 (Recommended):
Use the Self Service Portal to Retire the device. Refer to INFO: Self Service Portal for Ivanti Go
Method 2:
The specific location of the un-enrollment/removal option will vary heavily by manufacturer and Android version.
The instructions below should be treated more as guidelines for the sorts of option verbiage you may be looking for when attempting to locate the button on a given Android device.
Google Devices: Settings > Accounts > Remove Work Profile
Samsung Devices running Android Nougat: Settings > Cloud and Accounts > Accounts > Work Profile > Uninstall Work Profile
Samsung Devices running Android Oreo and Samsung Experience 9.0: Workspace > ⋮ > Workspace Settings > Uninstall
Samsung Devices running Android Pie and Samsung One UI: Settings > Workspace > Uninstall Work Profile
Escalation
Please contact the Service Desk to have a ticket escalated to the Mac and Mobile Device Services (PEAS / ) - MGB assignment group requesting that your phone be Retired.
The Mass General Brigham EMM team will issue a command from the Ivanti Go console that will remove only related apps and configurations from your device.
Note that this option is only possible if the device is both enrolled and still checking in with the server.
