Many Partners Applications are not currently available for computers with a 64-bit Operating System. Applications will not show up in the Partners Menu until they are tested. Critical applications are prioritized and will show up in the Partners Menu once certified.
Can a 32-bit application run on a 64-bit Operating System?
Yes, if an application is coded correctly, it will see performance and reliability gains when used on a 64-bit operating system.
What is the Application Checker Tool?
Many Partners Applications are not currently available for computers with a 64-bit Operating System. The Application Checker Tool checks an individual’s Partners Applications to make sure they are available to use with a 64-bit Operating System. The Application Checker Tool helps you select the right computer for each user.
How do I access the Application Checker Tool?
The Application Checker Tool is available under Partners Applications > Utilities. As an added convenience, a link to the Application Tool is available to department purchasers who use the Ergonomics Online Ordering system for purchasing computers. View Instructions
