View an Inventor Apportionment and Lab Allocation

The Inventor Apportionment and Lab Allocation process is an action in Insight to capture the MGB inventors' apportionment share and lab share on an invention.  This action replaces the PI election information previously captured on paper or via email.  

This apportionment and allocation information can be viewed for completed Inventor Apportionment and Lab Allocation.  For inventions which completed the PI election process prior to December 1, 2023, the Innovation team enters the PI election information into Insight as captured on paper for Inventions.  

To view this information for an Invention: 

1. Locate and open your invention.
2. Scroll down in the left panel and select “Inventor Apportionment & Lab Allocation Process” link.  
3. Open the most recent, Completed action.  
4. View the information.
