Due to a security update, Microsoft requires all users to use Microsoft 2-factor authentication in addition to the MGB (Okta) login to access the Phishing Training Portal.
- Click on the “Go to my training(s)” button in the training assignment email or put the following link directly into your browser: https://security.microsoft.com/trainingassignments.
- Enter your @mgb.org email address into the Microsoft log in page.
- If it is your first time, it redirects you to setup your 2-step authentication. Click Next.
- It prompts you to setup Microsoft Authenticator App. Click Next. See Microsoft Authenticator App setup instructions here.
- If you do not want to use the Microsoft Authenticator App, click “I want to set up a different method.”
- Select “Phone” to authenticate via a code sent through a phone call or text message.
- Enter your phone number. Select “Receive a code” or “Call me.” Click Next.
- Enter the code that was sent to you or sent via phone call. Click Next.
- Your phone number is now registered with your MGB Microsoft account. Click Done.
- You are sent to the Phishing Training Portal. Your assigned trainings will be listed.
- The next time you need to access the Microsoft Training Portal, you will be prompted to Verify your identity via phone call or text message.
Note: Please access the training on a workstation or computer, not a smartphone or tablet.
