Haiku, Canto, or Rover Error: "No Environments Configured"

Symptom:

Use this guide if you are unable to log into Haiku, Canto, or Rover on a mobile device due to a "No Environments Configured" message.
This indicates the PRD config isn't installed and the app doesn't know what "environment" (Epic server) to connect to.

Prerequisites:

  • BYOD devices must be enrolled in Intune. (If not, see the iOS Intune Enrollment Guide or Android Intune Enrollment Guide as appropriate.
(Corporate devices are still managed via MobileIron, but should automatically enroll themselves as part of initial setup.)
  • The instance of Haiku, Canto, or Rover on the device must have been installed from Comp Portal (Intune) or MGB's App Catalog (MobileIron)
(The current versions of Haiku/Canto require iOS 16.0 or later. Devices running iOS 15 or earlier may not see the application)

Resolution:
Resolution varies by MDM and platform.

Intune

Haiku

The Company Portal instance of Haiku for both iOS and Android come pre-packaged with an econfig file that points Haiku at MGB's PRD configuration.
Seeing the "No environment configured" error would indicate that the app was not installed from the Comp Portal.

    1. Uninstall Haiku.
    2. Reboot the device.
    3. Reinstall the app from the Company Portal.

Canto & Rover

Canto and Rover come prepackaged with equivalent econfig files as Haiku.
However, the PRD information for these apps is located internally and will only be accessible while on MGB wifi or VPN.

    1. Install the Cisco Secure app from Comp Portal.
    2. Configure the Cisco Secure app.
    3. Quit and re-launch the Canto/Rover app.

If the "No Environments Configured" message remains after doing so, reinstall the app from Comp Portal as you would Haiku:

    1. Uninstall Canto/Rover.
    2. Reboot the device.
    3. Reinstall the app from the Company Portal.

If the issue is still not resolved:

    1. Make sure you are either on-network, or have VPN turned on
    2. Open Safari, and go to https://haiku.partners.org/setup
    3. Tap the appropriate button for your app, Canto or Rover. This will open up your app and automatically configure it.
