With federal and state agencies holding all covered entities to new standards for securing personal and protected information, Doug DeMio and MGH's Privacy and Security team will discuss the importance of applying these regulations within the clinical research setting. This presentation will include real life examples, and ways to prevent potentially damaging privacy and security breaches from occurring.

This lecture is strongly recommended for new and experienced clinical investigators, research nurses and study coordinators.
