Applications available to Mac users at the Partners Portal either in-hospital, or from home using VPN and the Macgateway.

At portal.partners.org:

Only a few of the applications for which you have permssion will appear as free standing icons (CAS, RPDR, PAS)  If you have permission to use CAS, but do not see the icon, you must call the Help Desk, 617-726-5085, and request remote access to CAS.  Most other applications (e.g., LMR) can be accessed via the Macgateway, see below.

At portal.partners.org you can access web-based applications by launching the Macgateway (red apple icon). if you do not have this icon, request it.

LMR To log into LMR, you may need to use your key as your password, not your Partners password.  If you do not know your key, look it up here.

Partners applications that can be accessed directly from your Mac:

Document Direct - accessible via particular Mac browsers. To request access to DocumentDirect Online and for Training and FAQ's

PeopleSoft Financials/eBuy –

1. Browsers: Use Firefox as Safari doesn't fully work with eBuy.

2. Disable any enabled "pop-up blocker" functionality.

Mobile access to Partners Phone Directory (PPD):

The PPD (Partners Paging/Phone Directory) is now available over the Internet or mobile device using your Partners User Name and password.  Internet access is all you need.  You do not need any special software or remote access to the network to get to the PPD. 

To access this, go to http://www.partners.org/ppd, type in your Partners User Name and password, and begin using the PPD.  If you are on a mobile device, you will automatically be routed to the new 'Mobile' version of PPD.  Mobile device types supported include BlackBerry, Palm and Windows Mobile devices, as well as iPhone and iPod Touch.
