HOWTO: Install Crashplan Backup Client for Macintosh

Purpose:

• Installation instructions for Crashplan application

Requirements:

• Platform: Mac OSX
• OS Version: 10.14, 10.15, 11.x
• Architectures: Intel & Apple M1
• Software: Crashplan
• If you are using the Mass General Brigham wireless network you must be connected to PHSWIFI3 or connected to the Mass General Brigham wired network

Installation:

1. 1. First download the correct Crashplan client from https://rcservices.partners.org  Login with your Mass General Brigham Username and Password
   2. Click on My Subscriptions located on the left side of the screen

1. 1. Then click on correct Client link to download Crashplan Client installer
   2. Locate the downloaded file CrashPlanPROe_Mac_individ_XX.dmg
   3. Double click on the dmg file and then double click on Install CrashplanPro icon

1. Follow the prompts to install the software
2. After the application has been installed, you will prompted to login
3. If this is the first time installing the Crashplan application click on New Account and enter your information.  If you already have an account or received an email from rcc@partners.org with a username and password click on the Existing Account and use the account information you were sent.
