Mail forwarding & leaving MGH or BWH
Due to health information privacy concerns, Partners cannot forward mail from your Partners Microsoft Exchange email account to another email account outside of Partners. Instead, you can create an "out of office" message in your Partners Microsoft Exchange email account indicating that you are no longer with Partners (MGH, BWH) and that the sender should re-mail the correspondence to the email address you specify.
The employee termination process, through the Partners Peoplesoft HR system, automatically disables user account privileges. Normal de-activation of the Partners Microsoft Exchange email account occurs within two weeks of termination. If you have other need to extend your message or access please contact Human Resources for the entity Directors approval.
Outlook Out Of Office Assistant and Partners Email
By default, the Outlook Out of Office Assistant, when activated, only sends OO messages to users emailing you from within Partners and its affiliates.
