Report any phishing email that gets through to your mailbox with the following methods:

How to report an email with the Report Phishing button

If the new button looks greyed out (disabled), refer to KB0013397

Windows

  1. Highlight the message in your inbox
  2. On the Outlook toolbar, click the Report Phishing button

  1. Click OK.

MacOS

  1. Highlight the message in your inbox
  2. On the Outlook toolbar, click the Report Phishing button
  3. A confirmation window displays
  4. Click OK.

Outlook Web App (OWA)

Highlight the email in your Inbox and click the Report Phishing button.

If you do not see the button, click the three dots (…) to expand the 'More actions' menu and access the Report Phishing button.

Outlook Application on Mobile Phones

iOS Smartphone

  1. Open the desired email from the Outlook app
  2. Tap the Add-ins icon (…)
  3. Tap the Report Phishing button to report the selected email.
  4. Tap OK to confirm.

Android Smartphone

  1. Open the desired email from the Outlook app
  2. Tap the Add-ins icon
  3. Tap the Report Phishing button to report the selected email
  4. Tap OK to confirm.

[Alternative] Use 'Forward as Attachment' and send email to 'No Spam'

Use this alternative method to report an email when the 'Report Phishing button' is not available.

Windows

Outlook 2013 & 2016

  1. Select the message in your Inbox
  2. On the Outlook ribbon, in the "Respond" group, click More, and then select Forward as Attachment
  3. Address the message to nospam@partners.org and use "Spam" for the subject line.
  4. Click Send

Outlook 365

  1. Highlight the message in your Inbox by clicking on the message 1 time
  2. On the Home tab, in the "Respond" section, select More
  3. Click Forward as Attachment

  1. A new message will appear on your screen with the attachment included
  2. Address the message to nospam@partners.org
  3. Click Send.

macOS

Mac Mail

  1. Highlight the message in the "Messaging Pane"; DO NOT open the message.
  2. Select Forward as Attachment from the message menu
  3. Address the message to nospam@partners.org
  4. Click Send.

Outlook 2016 for Mac

  1. Highlight the message in your inbox by clicking on the message 1 time
  2. Select Attachment

Support

If escalation is necessary, contact the Service Desk to have a ticket escalated to the information security - phs group for email or social media phishing, or, the cc telecom - phs group for phone call or text (SMS/MMS) phishing.
