  • New ERIS Service in Pilot: CloudVault, a Secure, Cloud-Based Storage Solution.

    The features of CloudVault meet the needs of labs and departments with high-level security requirements driven by data sensitivity or contractual agreements. Data is encrypted at rest, in transit and there are flexible folder permissions based on PAS group assignments with audit-log capabilities. This service will have a cost charged through the Research Computing Core on a monthly basis based on utilization per GB.   • ERISOne Investment Survey | Customer Feedback on Computational Requirements.
    The ERIS Scientific Computing Team is looking to understand the needs of current and future ERISOne Linux Cluster customers and how to better support all researchers. The ERISOne Linux Cluster is a computing cluster with a job scheduling system for batch jobs and remote desktops for graphical applications, running on a Linux OS. Please complete the brief survey to help gather usage information and prioritize future investment.
     
  • Partners HealthCare Biobank Disease Challenge Winners Announced
    Partners HealthCare hosted the first "Biobank Disease Challenge," an artificial intelligence and machine learning data analytics competition that was open to researchers across the United States. Prizes were awarded for the best machine learning models and visualizations. We congratulate all of the 50 teams for their hard work and outstanding submissions. The official winners are:

1st Place (Tied) - $12,500 Prize IBM Research / Center for Computational Health
1st Place (Tied) - $12,500 Prize University of Pittsburgh / Department of Biomedical Informatics
3rd Place - $5,000 Prize Massachusetts General Hospital / Computational Pathology
