How to Request a New Network Account

The specific procedure for requesting network access will depend upon the requestor's hospital affiliation.

Employees

BWH, MGH, MGB

Mass General Brigham computer accounts are triggered via Peoplesoft. For more information regarding this procedure, requestors should contact their HR Generalist and/or refer to the following links.

Please refer to your appropriate HR Dept Website and/or Phone number.

Status Request: If you are looking for a status, then you will need to contact HR directly.

DFCI

All network user requests are submitted through the Human Resources Staffing department. Requestors will need to contact their department’s PCF (Personnel Change Form) Originator or Preparer for assistance in adding a new user.

How to get Network Access for a User

PCPO

Users should work with their manager to request an account via the PCPO User Request form.

Users from PCPO Community practices can escalate a ticket to "peoplesoft hr - phs" for questions regarding the process. 

Faulkner

Users requesting a network account need to go through their HR department.

MVH

Contact the Service Desk to have a ticket escalated to the techs - marthas vineyard assignment group.

MEEI

MEEI employees requesting a new Mass General Brigham Network Account should be directed to contact one of the following Approval Managers.

SLM

Network accounts are created by Human Resources. Contact HR if an account is needed.

NWH

Users requesting a network account need to go through their responsible manager.

We have developed an online password request form for Managers/Supervisors to request user access for new employees.

An employee cannot request access for themselves. The request must come from their Manager/Supervisor.

The form can be found on the Intranet using the following link: http://password.nwh.org/.

Any Manager/Supervisor who needs access to the Password Request form should contact Human Resources to have a logon created for the on-line system.

PHH

Users requesting a network account need to go through their HR department

SCC

Contact the Service Desk to have a ticket escalated to the techs - cape cod assignment group.

Spaulding (SRH)

Contact the Service Desk to have a ticket escalated to the techs - srh assignment group.

SHC

Vendors/Consultants/Non-Employees

How to get Network Access for a User

All Others

Refer managers to the Human Resources site linked here when they request a Vendor/consultant account, and tell the requestor to use one of the appropriate POI request forms listed on the page.
